What words was Jesus referring to when He said, “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock”?  The Sermon the the Mount, of course!

“The Good and Beautiful Life” guides us in putting on the character of Christ, replacing our false beliefs with Jesus’ narratives about life in the kingdom of God.

Please join us as we explore daily living in the Kingdom of God.

Wednesdays, 9:30 AM Conference Room

Join us in a Beth Moore faith-building study of prophecy and learn how to live with integrity in today’s self-absorbed society.  The prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats.  Today, believers in Jesus Christ face many of the same trials.

Truth has a name. Truth is not a river that changes with the cultural currents but a rock and the cornerstone of all we are and ever dream to be. Adamant will be an anchor for your soul in a raging sea of opinions, giving you a clear sense of direction in a wandering world.

We will be starting this online study of Adamant by Lisa Bevere on August 12th.  Click photo of the book to start preparing for the study.

Wild at Heart: Discovering the Secret of a Man's Soul

by John Eldredge, hosted by Pastor Russ

Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM                                                                             Meetings will be in the choir room                                                              Virtual at: https://meet.google.com/fcs-jfpx-aoua.

Books are free and can be picked up at the church or arrangements can be made to deliver.  If you would like a book delivered, contact Glen Myers or Pastor Russ.

“In Wild at Heart, John Eldredge invites men to recover their masculine heart, defined in the image of a passionate God.”

This study challenges Christian men to return to what Eldredge characterizes as authentic masculinity without resorting to a “macho man” mentality. He urges men to take time out and come to grips with the desires of their hearts. Eldredge frames the book around his outdoor experiences and anecdotes about his family and references elements of pop culture such as the film Braveheart and lyrics from well-known songs.

Catch up on current study and join us next Wednesday.
