Christmas Basket Mission

December 2020 will be the 44th year that the congregation of St. Marks has provided baskets of food to impoverished families across the El Paso/Juarez area.  For the past several years, we have been able to provide food for 250 families; almost 50 pounds of food and blankets to carry them through the Christmas and New Years period.

The entire congregation and the Boy/Cub Scouts pitch in to acquire, stage, box, transport, and distribute the food which elevates everyone’s spirits and allows them to experience the true meaning of Christmas.  A $60 donation will provide food for one family. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by December

Annual Christmas Basket Program is postponed until 2021.
However, we have found an exciting alternative way to provide something special to needy El Paso families.

On Tuesday, December 22nd,  in conjunction with our weekly El Paso Fighting Hunger Food Bank program, we will distribute turkeys

Rumor has it that Santa and his elves will be there to join in on the festivities.
