Listening to the Language of the Bible

Wednesdays at 9:30am online- Hosted by Elaine Frisbie

One of the biggest obstacles to understanding Scripture is failing to appreciate its Jewish, Middle Eastern context. Through careful research, Lois Tverberg equips her readers with tools that transport them across the cultural divide between West and East, between our society today and that of the Bible. (Click here to onnect with Elaine's Group)

Listening to the Language of the Bible is a guide for discovering the richness of the Scriptures in their Hebraic setting. Please join us as we unpack the meaning of biblical words and phrases for life today. By examining the Hebrew and Jewish cultural context of some of the Bible’s seemingly odd phrases, we will gain insights that clarify and deepen our understanding of the Bible.
